3D Scanning
The Digital Studio also has a 3D Scanner available by appointment by reaching out to Max (schaferm@grinnell.edu), typically between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. It is a RevoPoint Mini 2 3D Scanner (opens in a new tab), which is specially designed to scan small objects (up to roughly 168mm x 132mm). Selecting, preparing, and scanning an item can take time and may not work with certain textures, shapes, or materials, so please plan accordingly and provide as much information as possible in your appointment request.
